Install 99 Grand Am GT

Ok, im close to the install.

First off all my info.

99 Grand Am GT 2 Door

Amps:

Clarion DPX 11551
Clarion APX 4240

Cap:

Tusami 2 Farad

HU:

Kenwood KVT-512

Subwoofer:

JL Audio 13.5" w7

Now Im wiring it with a 0 awg dual amp. Base electronics is hooking me up.

I plan on possibly running the power wires under the car so i dont have huge humps running under my carpet. (good idea?) If not under the passenger seat and to the trunk.

RCA's i plan on wiring them down the middle of the car under the center console to the trunk obviously.

Base also suggested re wiring the ground from the alternater to the chassis and battary to the chassis, so im doing that aswell. (called the "BIG 3")

Anything i should know about these cars?

I already have most of the deck installed i just have to pull it out too hook up the rca's and im still working on getting my steering wheel controls to work!

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

James

Run it inside if you can, might take you a little longer but you never ever have to worry about the wiring dropping off the bottom of the car or hooking on something that you run over. Make sure you use a fuse on the + line from the alternator to the battery.
