Well i finally got my second amp installed in the neon. And for the first time in years my ears were ringing for two days. I first had just a memphis 1500d and two punch HX2's, and the rest just running off of my alpin 9815. I bought a memphis 3004 off a member and by christ is it ever a nice clean sounding amp. Anyway when the installer remover my back seat to see all my wires he was shocked to see my ground. The previous installer at the same place just sanded off some paint and used a self tapping screw to mount my ground.To the underneeth of the seat.He emediatly asked who did this "i said you guys" "you're the only one's who ever touched my car". His responce was " If i did this i will hand in my liscence right now." So he then mounted my grounds to a strut mount. So he then told me, you must have been clipping alot everytime a big note would hit. Yeah is that why? Well needless to say everything is done properly and my car has never sounded so good. so a big thanks to all installers who know there $#it.
