Installing A System In A Convertible

I want to install a stereo system in my 1991 Chevy Sprint Convertible. My main goal is too add some bass since the 4" speakers don't cut it.

What do you guys recommend for a subwoofer enclosure in a convertible and where would you position it.

Thanks,

Hmmm....

For a sub, I'd say just a couple subs in the trunk in a ported box, and you should be happy.

If im right about this. That car has a steal wall between the trunck and cabin. I would cut two or three holes for 10"s (If you don't mind) reinforce the front and back side with mdf and run them free air into the trunk. I've seen this done and sounded great.

I don't want to cut anything, lol

would a bandpass box with a small sub like a 8" in the cabin sound good when the top is down?
