Jumper Batt+ to Remote input for testing?
Jumper Batt+ to Remote input for testing?
Im halfway through my install, dont have a remote wire run yet. Can I just put a short jumper from the battery + terminal on the amp to the remote input terminal right beside it to test and see if everything is working so far?
There is an inline fuse in the power wire already.
Would this do any damage to the remote circuit?

Thank you very much. Did a quick tune and went for a test drive.
Ohhh, the bass.
Ohhh the buzzing car parts.
After almost an hour I realized I was lost in the depths of buck**** Mississauga. Oddly, the bass makes me drive slower, and I dont care.
Looks like my first install is on track, now to find that remote connection.

If you have an aftermarket deck then its blue and white most of the time.
If you are using a stock HU then do a fuse tap to the wipers or the sunroof fuse. If your car is a GM then this will let you retain the RAP feature
