take a jig saw from underneath and make thehole bigger... thats what i had to do with my 6x9's

Been there. It can be a bear to set up and a fair bit of work. It helps to have access to metal fabricating equipment to build the brackets that probably will be required. Other problem is getting the trunk lid to close flat - my first setup had the shocks pushing up somewhat on the trunklid when it was closed, and adjusting the lid position just didn't work. The final setup had them pushing straight back and slightly down when the lid was closed.

But, when it all came together, it was pretty slick not having the torsion bars pissing off my sub box!
