KX600.4 install question
G'day all, I just finished putting a Kicker 600.4 into a boat for a friend and now he thinks he wants a sub. So I was wondering...if I bridge 2 of the channels to drive a sub what kind of output would I get? I'm guessing it can't handle a 2 ohm mono load and I should be looking for a 4 ohm driver.
Anyone with a manual for this amp...or anyone who knows what It'll do please share your wisdom.
Thanks,
Warren.

Accoding to kicker it does 300 bridged@4ohms. Kicker usually underrates their amps so figure on about 350@4ohms if you bridge 2 channels together.

hello there... nice amp you've got!
you can count on 350wrms within normal operating volatage if you bridge two of the channels. however it is definetly not stable to 2 ohms mono.
email me if you still need the manual
regards,
Marco

Why thank you. I can steer you in the direction of the fine gentleman from whom I aquired it if you'd like!
Thanks for the offer, Marco, but I've got all the info I need now. The amp works great...and it JUST fit in the cuddy of my very happy friend's boat.
