I'm having problems with my power wire. Its only putting out .4 volts. I've moved the ground wire twice to different locations that have worked fine before. Its 8 gage wire about 15 feet in length. If I do a volt test at the battery I get almost 12 volts.

got it figured out now

it was a bad fuse at the battery, must have blown when Xtremecs moved the MTX amp after I had attached all of the wires. There was a spark. Thing is I look at the bad fuse and it doesn't appear to have anything wrong with it, the metal piece in the fuse is still fine, maybe the glass is a little fogged up though. Oh well just my temper was at an all time high trying to figure out what the problem was. Next time I see a spark I will replace a fuse right away if nothing is working.

It is very common on AGU fuses to not break the metal, but within the ends of the fuse it has lost contact.

Been there done that! Can be pretty frustrating the 1st time that happens and you check the fuse over and over (but without a DMM) and it looks fine but you aren't getting power.

The AMP was moved to check the connections, as it would not power up in the first place. I guess the wires must not have been tightened for them to fall so easily.

Im glad yea figured it out though.
