could be a lot of variables like:

1. Not enough power for your subs
2. Not the correct type or size of box
3. Box has air leaks
4. You wired the subs uncorrectly

I have a feeling you didn't wire your subs correctly for a 2ohm load. Your subs are dual 2ohms right? Go to JL audio's site and go to their wiring tutorial section to see how to connect two dual 2ohm DVC subs into a 2ohm load.

Good luck.

looks to me like you bought 8 ohm subs so your amo is seeing a 4 ohm load ..and producing about 150 watts. those rockford amps are very decieving in their power ratings....**** bastards!!!
