your question depends on what your running. if you just have a 4 channel amp, the stock electrical system should suffice. but if you go into class d mono`s plus 4 channel`s than you should consider an upgrade. there are many debates over the arguement battery vs cap. if your plan on having a hefty electrical draw i would upgrade the battery. i use a yellow top, but i`m sure there are cheaper versions that do the same thing. if your going to run a sub, i would get a cap. subs and sub amps draw alot of power, and if your alternator only puts out 70+ amps, you`ll need the back up. if your going to go above and beyond that, you`ll need a high output alternator, which is expensive comparing to the three. i`ve heard of the batcap, but i haven`t done much reaserch. remember something, back in the early days of car audio when subs started to become popular, there was no such thing as power caps and optima yellow tops. just use your better judgement.

Interesting, so i got like now for amplifier rockford fosgate bd1500.1, with subwoofer audiobahn awisd15, which has max 2000wRms. Would i be able to use battery of optima or capacitor? I was thinking that battery that provides alot of energy, but cap, what it really need to do with it cause of following dimmin due to heavy basses.. I knew that alternator were expensive, dunno where i could find those kinds, and fit in my honda accord 2002. thank u for replyin me back.

i bought my yellow top at sam`s clubs for about 180, i got my cap on sale for 100. if your running an amp that size i think you should at least throw in a 1.5 farad cap. but whats also important is your install kit. i would go at least 2ga for that amp, i`m sure it has a massive draw. another option is to do a BIG THREE upgrade under the hood, its relatively the cheapest start.
just type in big 3 in google, and there`s a detailed explanation with pictures on sound domain.com (i think).

A gel cell or spiral cell battery like the Optima, Hawker or Stinger will improve overall reliability and the rate of battery recharge will also improve. It will not give you much more power than the standard wet cell unless you buy a larger battery. I recommend an aftermarket battery (Stinger et all) but it is not essential.
The capacitor is not terribly usefull in most situations, but it does steady the output voltage of the battery/ alternator a little... just not for long.

Upgrage the alternator, upgrade your wiring, then unpgrade the battery, caps last.

I do not have an opinion on batcaps

Not that I'm diagreeing with what you said, but if you were to upgrade the alt. wiring, and battery, there's no need for a cap. none whatsoever.
one last thing, if you do upgrade the battery and decide to go with Optima (great choice) they make batteries for different appliations, for the optima, you'd want the 'yellow top' as the 'red top' was designed as a starting battery, whereas the yellow top would lend itself much better being a 'deep cycle' battery
