need a stock looking mp3 setup for 01 factory vw deck

Hello. I have an '01 Jetta with the factory (cassette) deck, 8 speaker system. I haven't pulled out the deck to see if it has auxiliary plugs in the back, and I'm not interested in pulling it out yet as it has the anti-theft codes that I don't want to mess with yet.

The stock speakers are fine right now, but I am interested in hooking up an .mp3 player in as "stock looking" way as possible. The car has a cubby hole above the stereo where I could hide the .mp3 player and possibly sneak a wire through the back down to the stereo (if the deck will accept it).

What I'm looking for is ideas on what are the best setups that DO NOT USE fm receivers, to hook up the mp3 players/ipods. Can I feed right into the stock deck from a player with some adapters on the market?
If anyone has a VW and has done this already please give me the details or options available. Thanks :

Adapter

If memory serves, the deck in your car is actually made by Panasonic, and the deck does have a DIN plug on the back to connect to a CD changer. If you go to a larger car audio store in your area, they will probably carry a full line of Blitz or Scosche adapters, which allow the installation of the Panasonic CD changer instead of the VW one. They will probably have an MP3 'aux in' type adapter if one exists.

thanks, good to know I can plug in behind the deck - I'm not interested in a cd changer - does anyone know what are some setups for hooking an .mp3 player into an '01 VW deck? I thought there must be a website somewhere, where you can look up on a chart the parts you need. I mean, the stereo experts at FutureShop must have some place to look up the parts for different installs right?
