Noob stumped by first install

yea my 1st experience was easy too. i did a 1999 venture which was as simple as take out and put in. Doing it for my 1993 corolla was a bitch and a half because no store(canadian tire or walmart) had a install kit for the car. Walmart has one, but it makes so sense, i bought it and it will not fit the car as the plate is too big, and it doesn't screw into the dash like i thought it would. i guess the engineers thought more about tuners and people who change their decks later so i guess thats why newer vehicles are easier to swap or come stock with 12 speakers.
