Pioneer DEH-2000MP Install

Hi my name is Mike and I have a problem with the Pioneer deck.

In the past I've owned and installed Pioneer Cd players. But this one seems to be giving me some trouble. I installed it myself and used the wiring diagram supplied. I had it wired and everything and it wouldn't fire up. I had the 12v constant connected and the ACC wire connected but nothing worked. So I ran the ACC wire to the 12v and it worked but the settings weren't saving. I tried disconnecting the wires and started over from scatch. Now it I still have to turn it on manually but the funny thing is that when I turn the key off and turn it back on it kicks on but if I leave it sit for 30 seconds i have to turn it on manually. So Im stuck. Is there something wrong with this unit. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Mike

Its a 2001 Toyota Corolla. Im stumped because it seems like its on a timer. The old deck that was in did not have this problem.

It sounds like your Constant power fuse in the car is blown.

It should be in the main fuse block, not sure where its located in the car, make sure to check ALL the fuses because they are not always labled.
