ok i'm building a box for a kicker L7 12' and the box's volume is 1.748 cu feet. with dimentions 16.6H x 30.1W x 18.6 D, i would like to know what should be the best frequency to tune the box at for the sub and what the port dimentions should be... i've been trying to come up with it for hours now... i give up. lol

do you want deep/low bass for listening, or loud bass for competition??

 

your box size seems a bit small for an 12L7.

but for spl/decent sq try around 40 ish for sq tune to 32-35

 

thanks i'll make it a bit bigger then i don't have that much more room to play with, but i can make it a tiny bit bigger thanks, where's the best place to put the port? i ask these questions cause its my first box haha... any imput and advice would be nice,
