I believe I have a DX Honda Civic and I thought they came with rear speakers. I am unable to locate them however. No biggie really. I just thought there that they came with rear speakers?

As far as my knowledge goes, only the Si models came with rear speakers. Back then atleast.
Look in the back, you should find holes for them, if not, then you will atleast see the speaker wire there for them, incase you ever want to put speakers in. Yes they are a very basic car, but are VERY easy to work on. (In terms of installing audio equipment).

im think your car usually has 6.5 in the side panels
the panels are they go in snap into your rear seat panels
they are about 10 inches high and travel from the back of the seat up to almost the front of the side panels
so if you were sitting in the back seat they would be to your right and left
if my memory serves me correctly

i noticed those panels. But never checked to see if there were rear speakers or not.

I didn't bother with rears.

When I had my 92 DX I just put a very clean 100w RMS to each door (6.5's). It was plenty in that small car
