Hey Guys I have two questions.
I am putting a two way radio in my old mans work truck (2008 Chev Silverado 2500) and I need to tap my relay into the remote turn on wire coming out from the ignition.
1) How do I take the steering lever latch off(the switch that lets the steering wheel go up and down). The guy at a shop told me to just pull it straight out which i tried but im afraid im going to break something. Do I just giver a good hard pull and it pops up or does it recover some lovig?
2) What colour is the remote turn on wire? If no one knows i will just whip out the multimeter but if someone does then it would save me time and troubles.

The tilt lever should just pull out unless they went back to the old style were it was held in by a bolt, but for the remote turn on wire i have no clue were its located.
