Hi Guys,

I am looking to replace the stock speakers in my 2006 Matrix. I have the stock sound system (4 door speakers). I was considering getting 2 pairs of Polk db651 but not 100% sure yet.


I was also considering between 3 amps (any other suggestions would be appreciated):

1. Kenwood KAC-8405
2. Pioneer GM-6400F
3. Rockford Fosgate PRIME R300-4

Any suggestions/opinions on the setup would be appreciated.

Also, I have 2 T112s running at about 800watts RMS (Rockford Fosgate punch800a2 amp), and therefore I am not concerned with base in the speakers, i just want nice mids/highs.

Personally, I like polk audio. But thats just my opinion. Pretty well every major company out there is doing some pretty amazing stuff...
