Running wire OUTSIDE of the car.

Running wire OUTSIDE of the car.
Basically I have run into a fairly unique problem with my current install in my car. It's a fiero, obviously. The motor seperates the cabin with the trunk. So, my power wiring as well as speaker and signal wiring MUST be run through the engine compartment to get to the trunk.
Current plan is to run the power wire on one side of the car low down beside the engine cradle. Signal and speaker leads will be on the opposite side of the car run down low beside the cradle as well. Does anybody see any issues with that?
Now, my main question is protecting the wiring from the elements. Can anyone recommend any type of conduit or tubing I shoud run the wiring in, or any other ways to protect the wire from the elements?
