shop rates

Hi all, I need to have a rough idea of shop rates for install. if it's not to much to ask! thanks

i think that about 60-80$ an hour is fair, if its actualy at a shop.. always take into consideration that your not only paying this guy to do your work you have to pay for the building that he works in the tools he has to use an the education that he has bought and or hopefully learned through the years... most of the time your also purchasing a warrente behind the individuls work...

In my town they start at 60 and goes up to 100. And yes you are paying more or less for every thing else in the shop then the installer themselves. Great pay for an installer is 20 bucks an hour but more likely 12-15 at the most.
