should I install a Cap on a 400 Wat rms Amp my lights dim?

I read an amp manual once that said you should change your battery ground to chassis wire to whatever size awg wire you used to install the amp.

keep in mind that the engineer who designed the wiring system in the vehicle did not take into account an xtra 800 watt, 20 to 30 amp draw on the electrical system, he designed it to handle the load on the devices installed by the factory, the big3 improves or eliminates your issue about 95% of the time, so just do it...

2003 trailblazer? Original battery? Hmmmm.......

Try the cheapest and easiest fix 1st.........clean your battery terminals and report back.

Just sayin.......

I have yet to see a 120 amp alternator with a stock 4ga wire on it
