Sound deadener

Hi - I'm wondering what is the best deal out there nowadays for sound deadener. I used B-Quiet about 5 years ago it worked well and was very reasonably priced.

I have a new truck and want to keep the new muffler resonance out of the cab so I want total coverage behind back seats, on doors and under seats.

Thanks - Matt

I just ordered 100sq/ft of B-Quiet Extreme damper and 40 sq/ft of the VCOMP. This will be for the floor and behind the back seats.

I'll try and post some pics of the install - maybe a labour day long weekend project.

I'll look out for that, how much did it cost you in the end?

go to the b quiet web page there pricing is on it in both american and canadian currency, shipping wont be that bad for it either and you wont have any duty as its shipped outta alberta anyways.

$334.11 including GST. I'm paying shipping though to save $ but I'm not sure what my final shipping bill will be.

I installed about 30 sq ft (two layers) of b-quiet and 13.5 sq/ft of VCOMP on the floor of F150. I need to get behind the seats still but first I need to redo my amp rack etc. so I'll have to wait another weeked at least.

With the vcomp installed it seems like the road and muffler noise is even louder but coming right through from behind the seat only. Definately need to get that one done.

I used Brax eXvibration paste on my trunk lid about 6 years ago and loved the results, easy to apply light and dense. Not totally sure where you can source it now though.

Couple of vendors at the Ancaster swap meet sell B Quiet and Dynamat Xtreme for a good price. Last year 36 DX bulk pack was $180. Can't remember the B Quiet price.
