Sound deadening doors!
tweet to match the beefy midbass so the mid doesn't have to reach too high (most sixes can't do it very well)... can you say horn loaded drivers? what's the highest slope your processor is capable of?
way to go Halo1, you've got a legend in your car now. lmk how you'll use it!

When I bought the unit the person that sold it to me sent me a GRAPH on how the EQ and X-over perform in real time.(Don't know how to download PICS)...The graph showed how the band pass performed on a three-way set-up--BANDPASS Starts-@ 50HZ HP and then ARCS up and crosses --100HZ-600hz @ 0db---before it falls back down to 2KHZ @ -24 db LP signal.
High slope X-overs help smooth out the sound alot and omit any problems associated with DOPLER distortion that can occur on HORNS.

Backing up a bit to the topic of door resonance..I have a 2004 Civic and the 6.5 Focals are creating tons of vibration noises at louder volumes. It sure seems to be coming from the door panels...so I thought I would try a quick and easy method of putting a 1/8 piece of foam over the entire area between the door panel and the door frame. Has anyone tried this?
Yes, look at the pictures and the text from my second session of posting on this thread.
If you are using snap-in fasteners for mount the door, keep in mind that the fasteners will not be allowed to seat fully because the door panel is floating on top of the foam.
It's a good idea, but it will not stop your rattling problem entirely. You need to mount the drivers directly to the metal door frame as a start.
Man...this is a big can of worms to open up. I spend a looooong time working on my doors to make them silent at high volumes.

I'm still hoping to EQ my sub some more so it's not too directional...but only at low volumes....which is a compression problem...and which is what a BASS **** that comes with the amp is for also.

Adam, have you managed to keep the rods for the locks and latch from rattling? If so how? My doors are deadened very well, but I can still hear the rods rattling. I was thinking of putting some pipe insulation around them, but I don't want to put any extra strain on the power locks.

But you sparked an idea! I'm always saying how nice it would be to have my car stereo sound like my home stereo...so why no cover the backsides of the doors with 1 inch insulation??? I know there is room for quite abit in my doors...
I wonder if insulation can mold.. Anybody know anyone who has done anything like this?
