As Jade's counterpart at the Courtenay store I use something a little different. I switched to a cheap spray adhesive on the bare metal and a Glad garbage bag opened up and doubled up(a double bagger!) nice and smooth. Make sure not to make the mix to hot. The resin and glass did not stick to it and the whole mold popped right out. A little cleanup of the spray adhesive and it was good to go. Once the box was complete a little more spray adhesive on the underside of the box and trunkliner scraps helped to keep the box planted and resonant free.

I've had no problems whatsoever of the cheap vinyl/duct tape melting from the resin. The stuff flat out rocks [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Dave, Dukk and I did something similar when we did the tub in my Mustang back in 95 although in a quicker, less messy manner We used FLOOR WAX in paste form. Yep, laid on a thick coat right on the metal and laid the glass down. Gave it overnight to cure, a few whacks with a hammer to the next night to make it let go and I have a tub with a surface as smooth as the metal. Still got that tub actually [img]smile.gif[/img]
