speaker and amp question (complete rookie)

i have 2 sets of jvc cs-hx646 speakers running off my headunit currently, a friend of mine has a massive rs-25 2 channel amp that i can have for free and i was wondering if it would be possible to use this amp to power my speakers i.e run a set of speakers per channnel

jvc speaker specs
Power Handling Capacity (Nom) 50W
Power Handling Capacity (Max) 300W
Impedance: 4ohm

massive amp
RS 25 2 channels
@ 4 ohm 70W x 2
@ 2 ohm 110W x 2

Just hook 'em up, doesn't look like your going to have an issue.

You'll get different results depending on how you wire them. If you wire them in series the amp will see 8 ohms per channel (~35 watts per channel and not much strain on the amp), but if you wire them in parallel the amp will see 2 ohms per channel (110 watts but with more strain on the amp).
