Wiring For Quad 1.4 ohm Sub?

Have a 18" Re XXX Quad 1.4ohm.
Anybody got any diagrams of my Wiring options?

your wiring options are as follows

all paralell = .35 ohm
series/paralell = 1.4 ohm
all series = 5.6 ohm

Amp is a Hifonics XX-Colussus
Guess Wiring all Series Would Be The Best.
Amp puts out 2000Watts Rms At 4ohm
Probly Put Out 1600 or Something at 5.6???

Quad 1.4 DCR ???

That is basically saying quad 2ohm coils.....


wire at .5ohm, 2ohm, or 8ohm.......





my bet is you want to go series/parallel FTW @ 2ohms.......

Think the sub will handle the 3000watts the amp puts out a 2ohms????
