I'd maybe check voltage with the car running - make sure the alt isn't putting out too many extra V's.

Had a friend that was blowing subs and could not figure it out.Found out the line out rca's were creating a double ground system which was fighting each other.He tried a line balance and seemed fine

One time one of my single ground system punched my other single ground system in the nose. I hate when they fight each other. double ground system is the debil!
