you all have missed the whole point here...why in the name of god and everything holy would you even waste your time duscussing 8 track tapes...its a dead issue and a dead format..time to move on to something as fascinating as reel to reel tapes, lol...i know my parents still have some paul anka somewhere

I think, in its own little way, 8 tracks are very very slowly makign a comeback to a degree...go look on ebay...tha price that some people will pay for 8 track stuff...and it keeps going up...
just my thoughts...
