Just curious if to anyone knows how to remove the ashtray slidout thing, i'm trying to replace my cigarette outlet but doesn't seem like it wants to come out itself maybe if i take the whole slider thing with the ashtray/cig light out i can reach better, problem is i'v been yanking and fiddling with the dame thing all day and no luck on getting it out anyone ever remove this or know how it comes out, is there a trick?

 

Most cars have a couple of screws in that area - especially if the 'bowl' of the ashtray pops in and out independently.
