Well we were out again on the week end. It was so hot it wasnt good for making power or running any good numbers. But we did do a 10.03 seconds at 140.38mph. Still sliding around for all of 2nd gear and some of 3rd but we are getting closer to getting it to run right. I will get a couple pics up from the week end up in the next day or so.

st thomas dragway is where we have been doing our testing. but there hasnt been any track there. What i mean by that is that it was mustang and f-body day so it was all street cars and they put dust and crap on the track and they dont put heat in it so we could have the biggest tires in the world and they still wouldnt grip but he are getting it to react better with air pressure changes

ok we were out again. now the car is coming around and starting to show some potental. I was racin and went out in the second round my fault foot went off the gas. But the car is now running 9.62seconds at 143mph.
so we are going to finish out this year running the car with this combination and just take it easy. but for next year we have something bigger planned. now we came acrosss a 427 cubic inch tall block. So it is taller than a normal 427. now with it being a tall deck it means you can put bigger push rods and pistons. so after you change out the crank shaft you will get more stroke out of it making it a much bigger motor. so it changes from a 427 to a 572 monster. This is what we are planning on doing for next year. that should push the car to 8.0's range at 160+mph with no NOS or supercharger.

Ok i havent been around in awhile been busy with work and other things. But here are a couple more pics from saturday when we were out. Now the first 4 are from the last run I made. In the transmission there was bolt the holds the clutch pack together that was cut off from metal fatigue oh well that is racing things break. But that was an interesting ride. When it happened it was from 1st to 2nd gear so i was going about 100-120km/h with the rear wheels locked up. But we will get it back together this week to go out once more. I will get some pics of the damage in the transmission and some shots of the engine.
