you ...u ruined a perfect car.. whats with all the stupid flairs..used to be a 73 74 body right?
sorry if i sound mad just i love amcs in gerneral.
right now i have a 71 amc javlin thats an ex drag car also but no were near as choped up as that.
i also had a 80 spirit amx, 82 spirit, and a 77 hornet amx
my dad owns about 40 amcs total...used to be 60
he is currently redoning a 73 amc javelin peirrar carden 401 4speed with the go pak.

i would refrain from calling someone an that you don't know. we got the car that way with the flairs. We need them to help keep the car stable and streamlined. The underside of the car is flat so it just helps move the air out the back rather than the sides. That is the old engine pic we have a new engine that we are building right now. When it is done I will get pictures it is a BBC 509 cu in.
Now I am happy that you are so into AMC/AMX, but we are not in the business of restoring them we don't even like the body. We would rather have a Camero or something like that on the chassis. Just so you know it is still a 74 Javelin I don't think adding some flairs makes the car indistinguishable. With that kind of thinking you know one would know what a stock caviler would be.
