Dang, that is a good point.

BUT, to neutralize it, I don't drive much during school since everything I do is on campus, but this summer when I go back to my old job I will be makin good money again and the fun that the mustang brings me will outweight the loss in gas mileage. (I calculated it out, going home and back on the weekends would cost me $15 more with the mustang supposing that it gets 22 highway and the aveo gets 32, so the difference isn't that big)

I am glad I came to this forum, I new the wisdom of you dudes would be massively helpful compared to my friend's suggestions: "Don't be stupid, get the mustang". Haha, so I thank you guys for the help that you are giving me.

Well I do miss my 80 with a swapped in 5.8 HO on a auto, man that was a fun car, burned a set of rears off in two months,

But Dude, were in Canada, read Snow and shitty weather half the year, a highish HP cow thats pretty light will break loose easily. and can get ugly, I know I never drove mine in the winter but even when it rained all it did was go sideways. It was like drifting going around a corner but not using momentum of speed to go sideways, just the gas pedal.

Id honestly stick with the aveo, save what you can get for extra $ now, and then after summers over and the good jobs over take your money and buy something like a stang or whatever you want for a summer car. that way, if it breaks down you have backup

To me it sounds like you've already mad your mind up that you want the mustang. Hay, if you can afford it go for it, RWD is sooo much more fun.

Dude, you have very good observations. You are right. I know my opinion is really biased in favor of the mustang but I am not only doing this for myself. My dad told me that it is my decision and I know I would disappoint him if chose the mustang. And like canadianbronco said, it will be super hard for me to get around in the winter, will it be worth it?

If you stick with the Aveo what is going to happen to the mustang? If it's just going to be sold, try and buy it from them, then you can have fun, when you want, and you can get around in the snow when there is some. just m/o

THAT WOULD BE SWEET. But my dad would never sell me the mustang if he knew I was going to keep my aveo because he knows that I can not afford both payments while I am in college.

Haha, thanx for pointing out that I am a stupid teenager who thinks its fun to drive illegal. But at least I don't do anything in public areas. I can't afford tickets so I usually keep it calm in town and on popular roads.

like i said b4, it sounds like you really wanna go with the Stang, but imo keep the Chevy, pay it off save up some money then either buy a 2nd car or sell the Chev and get a new ride when you can afford it more. thats what I would/am do(ing).
