Go with the chivy. From what ive read, you dont like it, but its cheap and has warranty on it still i think. Get the rustang, go fast look cool, screw around with buddies, get into a street race, hit light pole, car wrote off. Then deal with police, fine and then a whole bunch of other stuff and no car, enjoy walking...

Definitely don't watse your time with that slow and girly looking stang. Those pre 2000 stangs looked bad and way to feminine, and they were so slooooooow. You won't get any respect from car people in that either. All you will get is peolpe trying to race you and you will get beat by everything ranging from well... practically everything.

Your choice, to me, is clear.
Wrong, the 94-95 had the 5.0L which is the only reason I'd buy that body style, if it was a 96-98, forget about it it would have the early 4.6 2 valve and while you can still get big power from the 2 valve's it would be FAR less reliable than the 5L as well as more expensive to fix.

Were it a Cobra on the other hand, it'd would be a 4.6 4 valve N/A making 320 hp and my advise would be to get it and park it untill you learn how to drive, and then in about 10-15 years stick a for sale sign in it. and retire.

Oh and the 94-98's weren't really slow, they just weren't as fast as the foxes. Although in comparison to the 79-93 foxes or 99-04 (ugly IMO)GTs, yea they were slow.

a 94-98 GT that's not a Vert is a rare find still, I'd buy it and keep your avon thinggy for winter.

BTW....what the hell is an aveo?

The 96-98 Cobras actually had 305 horse. In 99 they went to 320 horse, so long as the car had the recall done to give the power it was supposed to have. I drove a 97 Cobra in 99 I believe it was. Decently quick for sure, and it's power is definitely up top. Soft on the bottom, but then I had a Dakota R/T at the time and also owned an 88 GT 5 speed. Torque rocks

Would I own a 95 GT auto? Nah. When I was in high school, a kid was given a then-new 94 GT auto. I had my 88 GT. He stayed away from me I'd look for an excellent condition early 90s GT over a 95.
