Anyone sell cell phones or know alot about them?
either way, you can not make a generalization about all flip phones because the one you own is a POS. And in my experience (I have owned one and my ex owned another model) Audiovox does not make a good product, the guy at the bell store said that they have alot of the returned for receprion problems
If you're going to sign an extension with bell for that long, make sure they give you extra incentives.
I got 300 mins extra in the day, and more features, including free txt msging for less than what I was paying before.

Ive been selling for telus mobility for years now. Bell uses the same technology and has a similar line up of phones. in my experience you cant go wrong with samsung products, all manufactures get their glitches here and there. problems with samsung are few and far between, they hardley ever go for service. Flip phones with dual displays are fairly easy to crack as theres not alot of room for flexing. nokias are good phones but they dont want to taylor them much to specific networks, the last nokia on telus was a dog. audiovox has had some very reliable models, but as a whole give you all the latest features for the lowest price...trade off quality....like a hyundai. LG seems to get better and better and have become some of the best phones we have on telus.
Problem with the consumers opinions of phones is that they dont get how they work. too often someones lousy performing phone is a result of low network signal where they spend alot of time, poorly prorammed handsets from a crappy salesperson, or they beat the hell out of it or get it wet and still cant understand why it doesnt work well.

All new phones seem to have delicate screens, look at them funny and the screens crack.
