Broadband Phones
#2
We use them at work......I don't think i'd ever get it for my house or my work place unless heavy routing of phone lines is needed or it somehow benefits the work one way or another thouhg. Get a rather crappy connection, not to mention the last place i worked forever had people calling in who had trouble with them. Never really experienced a solid clear connection on them.
Over all, I may just have never seen the good side of them, but i don't like it.

A guy who visit's us from England brings his always I'ved used it a few times no issues at all, mom's boyfriend had one same idea to link him to work and no issues either... However if your bandwith really starts to get busy you will hear kind of a crackling or the signal is very weak. If you use a fax machine you "may" have issues, we've had a few people call in caues there hp fax machines don't work with voice over ip.. since the filter for dsl will sometimes filter out the handshake for the fax...
