I am going to have to say that a Stage 2 350z would rape any stock Neon and I have no idea why your comparing a Neon to a 350z. Yeah maybe they are close in the 1.4 mile but it ends there. Yes, owners of slower cars tend to resort to comments like "oh well, it's just a NEON" and "your interior sucks", and the infamous "But our resale value is way higher." but you know what, it's a neon that just smoked you, and for a heck of a lot less money. As far as resale value goes, no matter what car you buy, you are still losing 20% when you drive it off the lot. Who really thinks about what a car is going to be worth when they get tired of it and want to sell it. When I bought my neon (srt-4), I could have bought a 350z, but the money-performance ratio was not really that great. I knew what it was when I bought it, and I am not expecting anything else out of it. I do not like the way the 350z is styled, but when I bought my car, the style/color meant next to nothing to me. BUT I do however agree, the 350z has a way faster interior than the srt-4 </font>[/QUOTE]IMO the only thing that keeps the SRT-4 a neon is the body. The rest is all SRT-4 (different IMO)

Yes, I know the SRT-4 is hard to beat in the price/performance ratio. I loved those cars and I accually had one last year for about 3 months but got rid of it due to other problems.

I just can't justify picking a SRT-4 over the 350z because the speed limit is still 100 km around where I live. I always wanted that car from when I saw it on Car and Driver a few years ago as a concept car. I wish they would have made a new body for it. I think it would have been alot better because everybody still looks it as a Neon and some of those Neons had major problems

I bet your car would probably beat mine also but I would still rather have the car I own right now and I wouldn't be embarresed. 2002 bmw 530i with the sport package has about 235 hp I don't think the weight could take that weight of the srt4

My cousin is a fleet manager for a Dodge/Chrysler dealership & I took one of these for a cruise, I kinda liked it, not like a Mustang but it is a good little car.

 

^They're alright, our SXT with the options we wanted & employee pricing cost us a tad over 30K. I haggled to the point of pissin off the sales manager. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

I HATE wind buffeting! The car itself is growing on me, never thought I'd like a wagon.

 

^^ LOL that Neon video set off my Gaydar in a big way, why do people even listen to **** music like that? I thought it went out in the mid 90's. SRT is a nice ride, too bad about that tacky wing they stuck on the back though. They should have removed the wing and done a matte black hood like some of the ones in that vid, IMO.
