It's damn cold out here in Calgary, I don't like to complain. It's really not that bad if you're ready for it. We live in Canada - deal with it. anyone who has experience more then half a dozen canadian winters should be used to the unexpected weather by now! i get really annoyed by the people/media who get all in a frenzy that society will shut down when the bad weather hits. LIFE GOES ON...EVEN WHEN IT'S -40!!!

I used to live in Montreal and Toronto, and the weather is why I moved and stayed here.
I remember driving in -39 and the windchill factor was -65 from the west, and I drove from Toronto to London, barely got 15 min. out of Mississauga, and the 283 in my '67 Beaumont SW, froze while doing 100Kmh against the wind.
Lucky I spotted some cardboard tossing in the wind.
As for Canadian weather, look at it this way, the term Micro-climate must have originated here, and how many different way are there for a weatherman to say it's gonna rain?

Thursday afternoon is supposed to be +12 and by Thursday night it is to be -10 or lower.
I hate the cold but realize that I do live in Canada so I try not to complain too much as it's to be expected.

 

yah and pouring rain did you catch any of that freezing rain this morning? came close to falling twice on the 60 second walk outdoors to class lol its funny if I did wipe out i would'a knocked my friend over on accident just with the way my feet slid lol

But yah +12 tomorrow back down to at least -16 on Friday I CANT WAIT IM EXCITED!
