The night we bought the damn thing I took it to the car wash to degrease the motor. Wash it all down nice and purty like.

Go off and investigate a small fire at the meat shop next door. All this at 11 pm at night. The permit expires at midnight.

Fire the damn car and it wont start. A little water in the cap. Clean it out the best I could and try starting again.

This time it was orange flames and lots of smoke.

previous idiot, I mean owner, burnt out the fusible link and replaced it with normal wire. No problem pop another loonie in the wash and put the fire out.

It eventually statred and made it down the block about 600 meters and dies. Call tow truck, replace fusible link and all is well.

Got an 80 Bronco sitting here that is just about as bad. The floor has holes you could lose a 15" woofer out of, but runs great. Atleast I can fit my hand into places and know I will get it back.

We used to use the holes in the rear floor of my Tempo to "dispose" of our beer bottles while driving downtown.
Yes, we were young and dumb.
