I think I'm going to wait one more week to give this thing so I can hopefully pull together the resources to have an actual onsite live demo of how a db drag competition is done...

I think it's good man. I like that you don't just have words, that you have pictures and stuff. I think that will go over well.

I think the busted speakers will get some people's attention too

Ok...So....I've been told that if I run over the 5 mins,I will be deducted marks for my presentation...

And to top it off,Not only does the instructor mark us, but we mark each other as well,on a laid out mark sheet provided....

But going by how the few did today,I don't think I'll have any problems blowing them off there feet...

So much for the live demo....for now..hehehe

So the last draft of the pres. is posted on the same link as before....I'm going to wait till morning to burn it to disc because I want some last minute thoughts on how to make it better....I'm going to look around online for some video clips to toss in as well,but I dont think I'll find anything I can really use...If you have something,link it on here please and I'll have a look...

Don't know if anyone really cares, but I did my presentation today and blew everyone else out of the water!!

I was the only one that had planned out and memorized what I was going to say...I was the only one who stood in front of the desk during the PowerPoint portion of it...

I asked around to a few people and from the looks of it, I got the highest marks from all my class mates...

You should have seen the look on peoples faces when I ran thru some of the comparison decibel numbers...I saw a couple mouthes drop..it was awesome....


Thanks soooo much to everyone who proof read it,gave me ideas,donated pics, and just wished me luck!!

I'll let you know when I get my overall mark and about where it ranked in my class of 17..

 

Sounds awsome Aaron. Did you take a blown sub for a demo of what happens when you have to much power...lol.

Yeah I took the blown sub...not the one in the pic...the other..hehehe...You know...Shoulda seen the look of puzzlement when I annouced"Ladies and Gentlemen,while I'm getting prepared would you please remove all bank cards,cc's,cell phones,and anything else that may be damged by a magnetic feild"Then as it was handed around,I was quite amazed at how many people took the time to give the thing a really good look...extending and compressing the cone,watching the movement of the spider...
