I bought a Phillips ghetto blaster about 4 years ago, sounds great, works well. This one at XS is a refurb, not sure what kind of warranty they would offer on that.

What if i were to find that same model at a regular store brand new then?

i went with the SONY one very similar to the one you showed originally in the post (for the $$$ reason)...it was definately loud enough for me in my house, and i also added my own amp and extra sub from xscargo. sounds great and don't have any problems with it!

You can add extra amps & subs to it? Or for your system in general?
