Dilemma.. need some advice...

Ok, here is the situation...

I have a friend, He loves crx's.
he has 2 of them, one is his daily driver and its nicely deckked out with ebay gear. i know i know ebay gear..haha right, but thats all he is willing to spend right now because he is just finishing up his apprenticeship to become a pipe fitter.
now... his new girlfriend, who has a kid already, and has no income of her own, is basically living off my friend chris.
She is making him sell his crx's because there is not any room for her baby.
How would you respond to this?
she says she loves him, and he loves her... blah blah blah....

THIS IS NOT MY SITUATION!!!!... lol so dont ask...

We'll tell your friend that in this country to survive usually both partners NEED to work. Tell her to get off her *** and get a job. I'm sorry man but your friend needs a swift kick in the *** to get his head straight.

Women should know a car to man is his other love. Can't make him sell it!

Last I checked although they are fairly compact, a CRX still has a back seat and a cargo area.....

Not much you can say... you are only his friend and if he is like most guys he will not listen to your advice if its going to lead to a loss of p***y....

Let him make his own mistakes.... he will sell his car, be her bitch.... then one day she still won't be happy or respect him and he will find she is f***ing someone else and when she leaves he'll get to pay alimony and child support for a kid thats not even his.....

Maybe not but they can't have been together very long, and if I was your friend Id be wondering what happened to her baby daddy....

All Id tell this guy is that if he says "no way, Iam not selling my cars".... and she wants to fight about it and probably threaten to leave him.... SHE AINT WORTH BEING WITH.....

what could i tell him, what may work, ive been trying to tell him no, keep your cars, see if she loves you really or if she runs away because you decided to keep your pride and joy.

Yeah, I wouldn't necessarily say he has to dump her, even though that's how I voted. But, it's not his kid. If she loves him, she should get a fuggin' job herself and buy her own car that is kid friendly. Odds are if things are starting out like this it will likely end in the future anyway. So, he'd sell his car and they'd probably break up in the future anyway.

Id agree she needs a job but since she has a baby it might not be in the cards..

If the kid is under two years old I think its better for mom to be home taking care of it...

and as far as child care goes paying $40 to a daycare center when you are working for minimum wage isn't going to get you much further ahead anway......

Going to hafta say, why not do what I did? I put my Ranger in the underground and well technically yes, its just sitting there rotting but its sitting there waiting for the day I can afford it again. Hopefully that day comes within the next few months.

In the meantime I bought another car, very very very cheap car and well we both bomb on it and its now going to be my SPL toy for this year as well. It's easier to buy a new car and not sell the others just store them! :P
