You'd have to hear it man... assumptions on something like that are kinda hard to make. Who knows? Any frequency response or other info on it?

 

Why do you say that?

It looks like a bandpass enclosure - sealed one sided, ported on the other. They just took some creative liberties and veered away from typical square box design. If done right, that would sound just as good, (possibly better) than a box.

 

There's nowhere near enough volume in the sealed portion for a Type-R 12" to have a very good transient response ...
