I pay $1350 a year (3003 Accent), full coverage for everything, and that's with the recent increase of 20% on everyone's rates. Have had a ticket the last three years plus I am 30, which makes a difference. Obviously like Derek mentioned, being over 25 makes a significant difference to your rates, and every ticket will add up eventually. If you can't get better coverage, you'd better ask who, what, where and why cause otherwise they are gonna bend you over a barrel and BOOYA!!

A pay $2394 for both my 2002 Durango RT and my 97 Eclipse GSX and my home insurance. I had a speeding ticket 2 years ago with the car and I just turned 25 last December.

Ontario does suck. Same company, my brother pays 700$ a YEAR, 91 Nissan 240SX. He is 17. I am 20, paying $7400, or will be. Time to switch. Thanks for the article on the Statefarm Insurance, I guess I won't be going with them at all then. It is amazing at the crap that they intend to do. Since the car will perform a little bit better, rather than raising the premiums a bit, they will just simply not cover the car. I wonder what people with Porsches and other "stock" High Performance vehicles would say to something like that.

I bet the CEOs of Statefarm are insured on their cars.

I really hope the Government steps in on something like this soon. It is bad enough that the Driver Certification is being Privatized.

Factors for my insurance were a clean record, no abstract was taken for the past 3 years.

My mom sent me a cool site.
http://www.insurancehotline.com
It has the lowest quote. Apparently when you deal with brokers, you may not always get the lowest quote because they may only deal with a few companies.

This site, I just got quoted for 4900 WITH my two tickets. You pay 8.50, and you get the name, ref ## etc for your quote for the insurance company / broker with that offer.

Try it.
