H1 H3 H4 H13 9004 9006 9007

what do the H's with numbers mean?

types of bulbs that you are replacing, has to match the application. same as the 9007 is the original replacement bulb number, an "H3" for example is a different one.

ohhhhhh so like H1 is a bulb type and so is 9006 also a bulb type? so basically all of what i wrote there is just different bulb types?

i thought the H's and the numbers were either equivalent or they went together some how.
