that kinda sucks!!! oh wait...hang on i read further:

We are pleased to inform you that because you are an existing and valued customer, at this time your current Hotmail and MSN account(s) are exempt from this restriction and you will be able to continue enjoying access to those accounts from Outlook or Outlook Express. However, any new Hotmail or MSN accounts you create will not be accessible via Outlook or Outlook Express.

Ya i use Outlook Express alot for hotmail... just makes it so much more managable..

 

i just got it...umm same day i posted the message...probably the 23rd? or 24th

 

What happens is that if you use outlook to send a few emails through your account, it will disable your access until you go to hotmail's site and manually log into to their web version and pass a security check...very annoying. I am going to get rid of my hotmail because the only way I use it is through outlook. They plan to start charging EVERYONE for pop3 access in a year.
