Toyota and lexus are both built here in cambridge, and just building the factory kept thousands employed for years, as well as the additions. I worked for 2 years on toyota/lexus plants, both the factory, and at factories that make parts for them.

ALL made in ontario, and I'm sure there's more.

Your prejudice about car companies whent heir cars are manufactured(sp) and made in this country. I'd say about the only thing that makes them an import is the owner. But its still North Americans making the vehicles lol
And as for Imports they keep their value over the years when they're beaten pieces of junk. Verus any american car that falls apart. American cars are great dont get me wrong, but they dont hold their value like any import can.
