ok get some p#t then eat
p#t slows your metabolism down
but i would not try to get wieght on to hard to get it off later
i'm at about 300 and for the next 6m i will be in the gym up to 8hrs a day i will try i will to get to 210lbs

Okay, I made a plan for myself which I'm gonna start in the new year... which includes eating habbits and workouts.

Now if I do put on the weight, is there a chance it might drop back down if I stop?

Some smokers have the effect to keep weight off. Thats why I ask. One of my bosses at work smokes and eats at work everyday and doesn't show it at all.

It used to be that smoking would help ppl stay skinny but it doesn't always work that way.

And in your case eating fast food won't be the answer its unhealthy man. Did you ask the dr ?

Lessy - Your body will adapt to its surroundings. Eat more than the required daily spent calories and your body will stay anabolic (either with fat or muscle), starve yourself and your body will be catabolic (either fat or muscle).
Your metabolism will also slow down when you don't eat as much. This is the reason most dieters rebound by gaining more weight in the end then they originally lost.
Muscle also burns calories on its own and needs to be replenished with fuel/nutrients.
So to answer your question, if you do gain 20lbs of muscle by means of excercise if you stop excercising and your diet isn't rich enough in calories/protien to support the muscle then it will be catabolised and used for fuel/nutrients.
A proper diet and enough stimulation (excercise) will keep the muscle you've worked so hard to get.

ZZZZZZZZZZ - 8hrs a day is overkill. I'm sure you were exaggerating a bit. If you want ot lose 90lbs then a combination of weight training and cardio is the way to go with a healthy diet. Timing means everything when gaining muscle/losing fat so learn when to do your cardio and weights and what and when to eat.
The link I posted above will tell you everything you need or you can set up some sessions with a good personal trainer and dietition.
