Thats pretty bad.
I stopped by a local shop last week to see what they were stocking for headunits (I am in the market.) And I told the guy that I was either going to go with the Eclipse 5444 or the Alpine 9833. Conversation went as follows:
Him: "well, you want the Alpine, it is the best on the market"
Me: "Well, that is debatable"
Later
Him: "I think the Eclipse must be more expensive because of its flashiness"
Me: "have you even seen them?"
Later yet
Him: "WEEEEELLLLLL does the eclipse have SUB-CONTROL!!??"
Me: "ummm.....yeah. Seeya later"

Whatever it takes to get your money is what they'll say in most cases lol
Pawn Shops most people that shop in there for car audio either know their stuff and dont bother asking people for help and others know nothing at all about Car Audio and listen to the salesman and regret it later lol
