So i think I have finally given up on car audio. This sunday was my 8th break in, in 10 years of driving. the last 2 times I have been lucky and just have had my head unit stolen. I don't know what else to do. I have like 3 face plates sitting here just to stare at. Any one have any ideas on more anti theft devices then just an alarm?

Sorry to hear it happened again, that is harsh. I'm sure after that many times you have a lot of experience in securing the car itself. Just remember the things you can do in the environment around you to help. Like parking in a spot that isn't ideal, not pounding tunes close to home, having a car that is "low key", alarm pager, battery backup may help.

we a couple were when i was like 16 and just had small stuff in there. most of the time it was when i was at work and my 2 way didn't have that much distance. and i have no idea what happen sunday but they worked over my car. I think this just isn't my luck.

Well Milkweed, I would suggest a good alarm.

And from the hype it seems that if you get an Eclipse deck with ESN it will never go missing again!

put more sirens with backup batteries. put one under your dash inside the car so while htey're stealing it, they gotta listen to the siren going off. tint windows, never leave anything in the open

Hey Gilligans Hitch

yeah been moving and working alot no time for anything lately. I was thinking another siren with a back up battery. i just don't know maybe i just have a bad taste in my mouth about this now. some are happening at home but most at work. thought i got a gaurd dog when i got my rotti but she would just lick em to death. what are these door lock defenders?
