I get fuzzy pics too with my digital camera. I have Canon s400. I don't have a steady hand, but I don't see why the pics come out crappy.
Any suggestions?

i'd be a lot happier if all imports looked like that. Instead of damn kids wrecking them!

ya i have noticed that the new imports tend to be bad luck with old people. my grandmas car keeps getting hit in the parking lots of malls and places like that. to tell ya the truth i guess imports are not that bad. as long as it can purr like a mucle car then im happy.

Try adjusting your flash speed and ISO rating. If your taking pictures without flash, try and use a tripod. It mostly has to do with how long your shutter is open, the longer it's open the more your hand moves.

Some of the pics looked decent at first, when I checked them on the camera. Then when I uploaded them to the computer I reduced the size to 30% of the original, using Irfanview. It seems to cause some loss of picture quality.

I find pics are not blurry when I use flash. Could be the camera, though. I'm used to using a Fuji F601Z.

Nice pics, JB. I had no idea Ifest was on. Shame on me.

I use a Kodak DX6490 and haven't had issues with blurrying at least not that bad very minor that you can't tell even when I get into the 10X digital zoom where the pic just bouncing around with the slighest movement..

Yep, it's all about the shutter speed. With a flash and low-light conditions, the camera's shutter only has to be open a fraction of a second. By not using the flash, the camera (if set in Auto mode) will try to let as much light in as required by keeping the shutter open longer to provide a good shot. Keeping the shutter open longer while holding the camera in your hand means more blurriness as the hand cannot hold it perfectly still.
