MP3 Quality ... 96kbit 128kbit 160kbit 190kbit 192kbit Which one is best? Is there one that produces more clear bass and not distorted bass? I was told 192 has more bass yet sometimes its distorted a lot sometimes. And then I used to encode mp3s in 128 all the time because it seemed like a good quality? Whats everyones opinion on this? Which quality is better? And is there a better quality bass in one of them? Or any more that i didnt list.
Also I notice sometimes 96 is ok in some songs? Like one of the mp3s i have that has the bass out of all the rap songs in general that i have is DMX - Ain't No Sunshine other than Eminem - Goto Sleep

kbps, kilobits per second, the amount of samples per second from cd quality, (192 kbps, 192000 samples per second) as the kbps gets lower, so does quality, its gets muddy and unclear and everything begins to blend togther...personally i rip cds at 256kbps because on my stereos, car and home, its hard for me to tell the diffrence between 256kbps and 320kbps, i would say for a setup like yours, 192kbps or 256kbps is probably fine, but its up to you and your ears, test it out, get a song that you like and rip it at different qualities and compare them on your system...mp3's may not sound good with high end systems, but really, your not gonna be competing with that setup, its just for daily driving...
