what'd you have to do to make everything so clear?
I dunno you're exact setup or anything. Or maybe your tv is super special. But i've done tv out to my pc for various reasons, and the icons never seemed to turn out very clear. Yet yours looks really good.

but to answer your question..it is an HDTV and it is running through DVI..now the main problem with 1080i is it is obviously interlaced..well what you have to do is give it a progressive resolution..1080i divided by 2 is 540p..well when you compensate for over/under scan you'll probably arive at around where I am..I use 848x480p in a 540p/1080i setting..there is no over or underscan..for DVD's you want some overscan so I either set a 896x504p resolution or I go for an interlaced resolution of 1000x1770..depends on your tastes and TV really..the program you want is called powerstrip and this thread is about the best you'll get on the net..
